west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

Dont write off Pats just yet , as i believe they have been inundated with injuries lately and have 3 possibly, Mayo footballers on the way . One played last w/e , already registered, without yet training with team . Could have major influence on team and when organised will be a match for anyone. Mark my words , big run of points on way soon ..........

Wouldnt think theres much of a gap between prem , 1st and 2nd.........appears overall standard since inception of eircom has dropped considerably and all divs now on a more level playing field.........
