west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

Tuam have to have outstanding chance on this years form , from Christmas onwards , but got to get all committed from the outset. Plus they need no motivation ........???

its between tuam celtic, olbc, east and west i would think, tuam have already won it so they know what needs to be done, olbc will improve under tommy molloy and if they add a few players to last years side they will be in the mix, east are improving also and if they keep up the same level of improvement they should be close, probably need to add a few to the squad as they could struggle if they got injuries, west need to improve alot from last year but with at least 3 quality players coming down from the A team and talk of a couple of the good C players who are wasted playing in that div moving up,there could be the improvement needed to challenge.

Familiarity breeds contempt , so no way West will go up . Tuam have nothing won as of now not even a point , if the players who failed to give a 100% last year do the same again this year - this time next year they will be exactly in the same position . Club got relegated , hard to change loosing habit .East are been written off by a few Kinvarra not mentioned at all , even though both of these teams have just come from a season where they won more games than lost .
Take two to go up at the moment from East , Kinvarra & Tuam - will make prediction nearer the off , whats the odds I get it right ???

Will be a very compeditive league, even more so than last year with good footballing sides like boys club, east and to a lesser extent Kinvara replacing Trotters, Crumlin etc. It will be wide open with the above three , Tuam and West early Favourites.

Heard from a few mates in Athenry that there's more unrest in the Athenry camp. This time its the B team, with no manager in place as yet, as the previous manager has not put his name forward for the new season. Anyone from Athenry care to comment??

Here we go again!, will be a close div again this year, with Tuam, East, Boys club, the early favs. Tuam will struggle a little at the start as i believe the manager is struggling to get numbers, altough he has brought in a lot of new talent including 17 year olds Niall Quinn an Pat Shaughnessy, and a few others as well, a bold move!! but keep an eye out for them. East will be favs and rightly so they could have league won by x mas as i hear they have brought in some quality. Kinvara dark horses and watch striker David Mahon a handful, my tips East and Tuam same as Borat cheers

this bold move you have mentioned may have served well in the pre season comp in abbey but for a final of that comp and start of league it has not served well.Quinn out of lge game i hear for junior champ game, and talk of tuam is that Shaughnessy has dislocated his shoulder also playing gaa.

i dont know where you got this opinion from, i played against them and thought they were a good young footballing side and probably were the one of the best teams in the division on their day. I think East & Tuam will be promoted with Kinvara 3rd..
