west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

Tuam 2 kinvara 2, good game played in very wet conditions this morning, Tuam looked better early on and took the lead through a cracking strike from newcomer Gavin Connell, but Celtic fell asleep then and Kinvara took over and scored two, the second a great team goal. The second half belonged to Celtic they equalised early on through Dec Mc Hugh and had chance after chance, with finishing let them down, Kinvara rarely threatened but did have one chance near the end. A good game, Kinvara seemed to have improved immensely from last season and will be contenders, as for Celtic the young players did well , Niall Quinn, John Ross bodkin who came on in 2nd half and changed game and Gavin Connell
