west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

i think they were down to play nuig b on 6th september but all of nuig fixtures for that weekend have now disappeared when are the college teams going to start back?
however i had also heard over the weekend that devon b wanted to wait in div 4 (saturday soccer)?
maybe oranbay 90 might get a reprieve after all

Salthill didn't want to take promotion as they wanted to play Saturday football. Galway FA wouldn't let them stay in the Sat league, none of their players could commit to Sunday soccer so they decided not to enter a team this year. Bad form from the Galway FA - should be a rule that you can choose not to go up, let the next team in line go up. I'd say 99% of the teams in that division wouldn't want to go up if they won the league as they just like playing socially on a Sat.

shouldnt the league table have all competing teams down already I mean theres 1 or 2 teams down on the table that havent played yet, either your in or your out regardless of if you havent played your 1st game yet.
