west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

Its near brazil , must be anyway as all ya see there at the bus stops is loads of brazillians coming and going .Did ya ever meet a person from gort , everyone there seem to be foreign they even play in the clare league as galway is not good enough for them .

Last time I checked, my DNA was 50% Gort and I have an Irish passport.
Unfortunately, I amn't blessed with a beautiful tan and tall skinny legs... Crying or Very sad

Only 1 game this w-end Ramblers Vs St Ellens has to be RAMBLERS are Ellens are pretty mediocre

Always a good incentive to prove someone wrong, Angel. Should be a tight match 2moro, to be honest Ellens have not deserved the 3 losses so far, just too much bad luck as regards own goals and tough refereering decisions against us. Remember all our matches are away this year due to pitch redevelopment! Anyway, ask the anyone from the teams we played against so far and they will say, we are no walkover!

3-1 wasn't a bad result considering the weather conditions. Gale force winds meant each team was camped in their half, Ellens had wind advantage 1st half score at halftime was 1-1, then 2 late goals courtesy of strong winds won it for Ramblers. Once again Angel, I ask who do ya play while you look into your crystal ball! Smile

They have one of the Tierneys playing for them, think he was upfront. Hard to tell how good they are. Dunno why they bother entering a team after the last season when they got relegated straight away after winning the division!?

Your the one that needs a break if you think every team in the league is the same/equal which is silly as there is already a points difference between top and bottom. Razz

,, theres not much to choose between teams in div 4b, what happens if gort go up again this year again and lose every one of there games in div 3, would that make them a poor side or a great side thats just won div 4b etc

Nothing against foundation but we wer shocking bad on the day. They got there chance and took it when it mattered. The pitch didnt help either team in castlepark it cut up badly. The referee was shocking bad grey hair ger was his first name dont know his second.Good look to foundation they will take a few points this season.

Kinvara v Athenry --> Kinvara win, that boggy pitch suits their Stoke city style of play
Foundation v St Ellens--> Ellens, got 1st league win of season last wknd and reckon confidence should be high but who knows what Foundation are like!

If there is only one round of fixtures this seasons, looks like season will be over soon for some teams with 6 games played out of 10 after this wknd. Unless it gets dragged out again!
Plus what is the big delay with posting the cup fixtures this year, last year's ones are still up!!

Really, I must take your word for it even though I was there and missed all that pressure! That grapevine isn't the best source of information Smile Anyway, never said that they were great. Also what 4th division team do you play for so we can all take a shot at them!!

That is a fair shout Donald but I found it hard to predict the tie as both teams are so poor where as IMO I would count Gort a better team than Kinvara. Soccer is all about opinions and nobody gets it right all the time.
So what are your predictions for the coming w-end anyway Question
