They have been told by the Galway fa that they will not be paid , as the person responsible for collecting the fees from the ladies clubs has not done so . Two of the refs involved told me unless they are paid in full by 25th of Oct ( this month ) no referees will bw forthcoming for next season . Now ladies have ye an answer for this ? If ye wanted to see the most physical game of ladies football, then this was the match to see. Cloonfad bowled us over in that department the last time we played them and we matched them, and some this time. They didn't know what hit them! Once again, the mighty Aoife Bodkin put both the goals in(6 goals in 7 matches for her! ). Probably should have been more on the scoreboard seeing as I hit the target 3 times. The league started on Wed evening last with only 1 game played. There will be full round of matches next wed with the league then taking a two week break for exams. The original plan was to have only 1 round of league matches but that was deemed by clubs to be unfair so there will be a meeting with the FA during the break to discuss a further round of matches either splitting the league ...
