west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

Re Foundation fc , heard they applied for membership of the FA but were refused .If they are not members of the district league how can they be in a cup competition ? Any one ?

If they are not members , their players are not registered with the district league ......this will open a big can of worms if not resolved immediatly .

Never mind who , what or where they are from - how can a team play in an fai cup competition when they are not members of the same organisation . I would say it is a cock up of sorts . Teams entered en bloc by fa to competition back in august , then upon checking out credentials for membership were not up to scratch , they were not withdrawn from same competition . If I was a member of Gort I would ring Terryland asap .
