west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

Borat u must know something about west that the rest of us don't know, your prediction of 3 wins out of 3 scoring 13 and conceeding 2 is based on what?west to beat rangers 6-0,i think your been super optimistic, west will be good but nowhere near as good as last season.

Well Im not giving them a chance of them repeating the start last year , 5 , 6 & 7 goals Total 18 and 0 conceded , Rangers will not be able to field a team of choice unless they cheat again like last year , as they have players playing for Ballyheane in Mayo at the moment . Speaking of that game last year - thats my main banker - revenge .
Remember a few weeks ago , Kerry said there players were this that and the other not playing , dropping three of them etc etc , then the cute whores wiped the floor with Dublin .I think Wille Grant and Tom Lally are kerrymen !

borat how many times has it been said on here that all the corrib rangers players have transferred back from ballyheane since the 31 of july and the players who where playin up there will do well to start for rangers anyways so its not gonna make much difference to there team .. and all this craic about west struggling is a load of rubbish u can bet they'll ave a strong team for this weekends opener .. they will do well to beat rangers never mind 6-0

west will do very well to beat rangers as this is rangers cup final every year beat west and there happy thats why they'll win nothing, west will be ok mite not win it but will definately be in the top 3,too much of a click up at rangers for them to win a premier same old faces every year, these same players were never good enough to win a premier and never will.

Alf your really trying to confirm that these rangers players are signed back you must have posted it at least four times, Your hardly the same fella last year who swore black and blue that moran and simon were legally signed which we all know was bullshit. Are you hoping nobody enquires about this thing now as well cause i for one wouldnt be taking rangers word for a long time after the disgraceful cheek of an incident last season. Still werent punished properly tuam celtic must be sick when they compare things.

bubba i know the four players well who where playing up in mayo and they have told me they transferred back b4 31 of july and havent played a game since and i believe them why wud they lie if they could b easely b found out . i agree that rangers fucked up big time against west playin illegal players but they wouldnt b stupid enough to do it again . 2 players decided to stay up in mayo one being the rangers manager and other not fancying his chances of gettin a game for rangers the rest have signed the forms and transferred back but you can be sure that if they beat west again they will try there best to say they where illegal. same rule applies in mayo there season finished in nov any player can come play in galway in the mayo off season if they wanted

Serious question alf , is there a transfer deadline in Mayo like there is here ? If there is when is it ? Dont know anything about the Rangers situation - I wish them all the best for the year - just re a player playing up there wanting to join a club down here at the moment and who isnt sure if it is ok , anyone know for certain ??

Result tonight
Mervue utd 2 Oranmore FC 2

All four goals scored in an entertaining 1st half. Oranmore took the lead through Tony Kelly with a good strike. Mervue equalised with a Stephen Larkin penalty after Emyln Coyne was taken down and Oranmore defender (sent off-last man back). Mervue took the lead with Robert Connolly scoring but ten man Oranmore levelled again through Julias Leke.

Mervue should have won it, as they dominated the 2nd half and Brazilian Febio Meiscigo should have put them 3-2 up but fired over with the best chance of 2nd half. But fair play to Oranmore though as they battled well to secure a draw. Definately 2 points dropped by the home team.

And the ref wasn't too bad either!!!!!
