west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

If its true I am absolutly delighted , Willie is everything a manager should , passionate about the game , knowledgeable about the game , in it for the right reasons and would go theough a wall for his players . Hes also a good story teller .
Theres definitly something good happening in Galway soccer !
Well flea or paddyboy any comments on this ?

A West man in charge of the town team .....who would ever have believed it .....still I suppose if they could sort out the north .....this just took a little longer .

im delighted for willie and i think he will do a great job but i hope hes not clouded by his affiliation with west and picks players on merit . last year there could of been 9 west players but this year they'll be lucky to have one or 2
