west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

believe it or not mathias o malley got a better one than john egans in the connacht cup,35 yard volley with his weaker left foot into the top corner.i also think game of the season was west v athenry in the connacht cup, best junior game i seen in years, pity about the end result Sad

For goal of the season I would have to say Colga's second goal by their no 9 against Hibs in Bohermore. Volley over his shoulder straight into the top corner, I have never seen anythin like it!!
