west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

Not true. Spoke to devon lads over weekend and one of them had heard the rumour too, but it only a rumour. It'll never move from the park they reckon. I checked their website today and there is a big bit about parking in salthill for the fives so it's only a bad rumour.

Any views on the fives anyone?deserved winners in my opinion maybe the runners up will finally seal the deal next year they are gettin closer,Gary fitz was a key addition to the this year.some tough teams drawn against each other early on apparently because many team names were new.cracking final goal in the tournament
