I would like to congratulate Salthill Devon on winning the under 13 (legal )league , they won it deservadly so as they were they top team that did not play a man on the team well done Devon and also well done to the other 7 legal teams in the division !
If any one on the forum wants to see what mixed football looks like ie adult and kids on the same ...

west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

Galway United Supporters Trust will be running a bus to the Shamrock Rovers match in Tallaght on Friday next, 30th October.

The bus will leave from Fibber Magees, Eyre Square, at 3.00pm. Seats can be booked by ringing Ronan at (087) 6972823.

Couple of questions and ideas Ronan , has the absence of the infamous Willie Furey dance lead to smaller gates this season , if so what can be done about it ? It could be bigger than the Volvo boat race .
This bus that leaves Fibber Magees on a regular basis , where does it go in the interim when ye don't use it ? What I am getting at , I know a lot of barmen in Galway who would gladly sponsor ye if ye kept the aforementioned Wille F on it permanently !

Willie is now on a retainer from Fibber Magees, he is employed by them to drink there.

The WF dance will have to be revived - this craze reached its height at Belfield last season. Unfortunately "The Fuhrer" won't be travelling to Tallaght.
