west beat mervue B 2nite to qualify for the last 8,wasn't at the game,i believe west rested alot of players and were nearly caught on the hop by a mervue side who deserved something out of the game.west are now at home to either blues our mervue A in the last 8.

I really think he's looking forward to it. I know we are. It's also great that we'll have another team heading for the league next season. Now we have to get Oughterard back on track too

The charmer in me girl, will always look on the situation as "friendly" as far as you and your team of course Wink are concerned !!!!
But the "devil" in me told the girls other night never apologise or say sorry on pitch , say afterwards if they want .

Looking foward to it would be an understatement girl for several reasons Laughing Honestly though , i said as far back as this time last yr to give me go ahead and that the interest was there . But better late than never. Great bunch of girls , have to be , to listen too and put up with Danny and I . Impressed by effort albeit we only had time for the basics , but i feel we will get bigger and stronger prior to entering next season. Breath of fresh air they are , pleasure to be in their company and a fine bunch of women to boot. They reckon we are doing them a favour but they are filling a void for us as well???
Maybe a return leg in your place would be nice??? Girl power ...........

Speaking of power Pele , Cheeky Spice even deleted one of my posts !!!!! Mad

Jaysus Happy , that was a great result for Ashe Rovers , i asked earlier who was emerging as next best to Salthill , would it be Ashe R ????

Reffed Ashe and Oranbay last evening , with Ashe a well organised , talented side , running out convincing winners. Would put them not far off or equally as good as Salthill!!!!! In saying that Oranbay held them for a long period before conceding goals .
The one thing i learnt from the game is that the new T.C team is not up to the standard of these experienced teams and a lot of work is needed, but can be achieved with time !!!!

Salthill 5 Ashe Rovers 2

Ashe went into this match 3 pts clear and a point would clinch league title , but not to be . Ashe matched the Drom girls in first half losing 3-2 at ht but in the second half there was only one team in it . Salthill and Ashe play again next week for league but if the Salthill girls are at full strength there will only be one winner........their no 9 is extremely talented, as are all of the team.
Fair play to Paul H and the Ashe girls on their sportsmanship. Not for a min would i tell Paul his job as he is well capable himself but if Ashe are to have a chance , pray its in Mervue 2 or put 11 behind the ball and hope for penos.........best of luck to both!!!!!!! cheers

Maree / Oran 3 Renmore 0

Just as well it wasent cup match for Renmore as they were never at the races . Only good thing for them was to see the evergreen 40 yr old Laura D making foward runs from the back ( duracel legs ) . Orans Triona scorer of 2 goals best on pitch . Renmore will have to improve but Oran deserved win ...........

Your last chance? As if! You're as fit as a bloody fiddle and ye have a good team. Try and if you don't succeed, try again.

Our match against Moylough finished 1-1.
They ran us to the ground but we missed a penalty and scored our second penalty! Weird atmosphere up there last night and got weirder when one of the Moylough girls had her nose broken. We wish her well and a speedy recovery!

Oranbay again on Monday evening.
